Review: Even though at this price range I prefer Pioneer
or Sony, the Panasonic SCDT310 is one of my favorite Home
Cinema systems and I like it so much that I own it. Video/Audiophiles
will dismisses such a lifestyle system opting for bulky separates,
but also regular Joe and Mary would consider this a rather
expensive. But this really is good value for money; the speakers
are just the right size to save space, but also with Panasonic
the front two speakers are big enough to produce quality midrange
that's is so lacking in all-satellite-system. So listening
to CD's and the radio a joy and just as good as my expensive
Hi-fi separates at normal to low volumes (at loud volumes
I don't think you ever get that musicians playing in your
front room sound that you get with good Hi-fi separates).
'Saving Private Ryan' came off well while Star Wars Episode
2 sounded best with its classical score.
As a PC broadband user and digital photographer the J-PEG
and MP3 playback is fantastic feature that I sometimes use.
The Panasonic SCDT310 cost me just under £380
and worked out cheaper than a separates i wanted at the time.
Multiregional available for about £40 more.
